Do you ever have this experience: you believe God loves you, but don't feel it? How about this one: you believe God is with you, but don't see Him? Maybe you just thought you'd be further along in your spiritual life than you currently are?
If any of those ring true to you, you're not alone. I think many of us experience a gap between what we believe about God and what we experience from God. This is precisely why we're going to be looking at pastor Steve Cuss' book and video series, "The Expectation Gap" over the course of this summer.
For those who can start to admit the gaps and want to actually receive the promises of Jesus into their lives in a more powerfully present way, we're going to enter into a series of conversations that will bring us into a more intentional, courageous, and patient engagement with our faith. But take heart! God is with us as we do. In fact, He's been here all along, inviting us into His freedom, peace, and love.
